Brain Battle 2026 – Inter House Quiz Competition 

Jai Vatika Public School, Barnala, proudly organized an exhilarating Inter House Brain Battle a Quiz Competition for the students of Classes IX–XII. 

 The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from all four houses, where students showcased exceptional knowledge, quick thinking, confidence, and remarkable teamwork. 

The quiz featured a series of exciting and challenging rounds covering English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, and Logical Reasoning.  Every round tested the participants' intellect, presence of mind, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities, creating an electrifying atmosphere that kept everyone engaged till the very end. 

 Respected Principal Ma’am, Dr. Parvinder Kaur, applauded the students for their outstanding performance and encouraged them by saying:"Competitions like Brain Battle inspire students to think critically, build confidence, and develop a lifelong passion for learning. Curiosity, dedication, and perseverance are the true keys to success. Every participant is a winner because learning itself is the greatest achievement." 

 The competition concluded with the declaration of the winning house, followed by appreciation for all participants, teachers, quiz masters, and organizers whose collective efforts made the event a grand success. 

 The Brain Battle beautifully reflected the values of knowledge, healthy competition, teamwork, and academic excellence that Jai Vatika Public School strives to instill in every learner.

Teej Celebration

The festival of Teej celebrates the bounty of nature, arrival of rains and greenery surrounded by social activities, rituals and customs. Students of Jai Vatika Public School celebrated Haryali Teej with great joy and fervour on the school campus. Kids came dressed in traditional Punjabi dresses. The campus was decorated with swings and items related to Teej. A giddha performance was also given by girls. Addressing the kids, teachers briefed about the importance of the day and mentioned that Teej was primarily a festival celebrated by girls and women with songs and dances mainly in the northern and western parts of India. Tiny tots participated whole-heartedly in the fun-filled function. The Punjabi boliyan were presented by little vatikans. Traditional dances, bhangra and giddha were performed by boys and girls. Shaping Future Journalist - News Reporter Activity

JAI VATIKA PUBLIC SCHOOL Class IV – News Reporter Activity The News Reporter Activity was organized for the students of Class IV to enhance their communication skills, confidence, and awareness of current events. They confidently presented National News , International News , Sports News , Weather Report , and Positive News of the Day with clear pronunciation and expressive voice modulation. The activity helped students improve their public speaking, vocabulary, presentation skills, and stage confidence, while encouraging creativity, teamwork, and interest in current affairs. The event was interactive, enjoyable, and a great learning experience. Every student participated with enthusiasm, making the activity both memorable and enriching.
