πŸ“š✨ Teachers' Workshop on Experiential & Holistic Learning πŸŒ±πŸŽ“

🏫 Jai Vatika Public School, Barnala successfully organized an enriching and inspiring  Teachers' Workshop on Experiential and Holistic Learning with the objective of equipping educators with πŸ’‘ innovative teaching practices that foster the 🌱 overall growth and holistic development of every learner.

The workshop was conducted by Ms. Anjali Gupta, a distinguished educator, πŸ“– certified teacher trainer, πŸ“ curriculum designer, and  school leadership mentor. Through πŸ’¬ engaging discussions, πŸ› ️ hands-on activities, and interactive demonstrations, she emphasized the importance of 🌟 experiential learning, competency-based education, and 🌈 holistic development in alignment with the vision of NEP 2020.

πŸ“šThe session encouraged teachers to create 😊 joyful, inclusive, and  learner-centered classrooms, where students actively πŸ” explore, collaborate, reflect, and apply their learning to real-life situations. It inspired educators to transform classrooms into spaces of creativity, curiosity, and meaningful learning. 

The workshop offered valuable insights into πŸ“– contemporary pedagogical approaches, highlighting that education should extend beyond academic achievement to nurture critical thinking, 🎨 creativity, ❤️ empathy, values, and πŸ’Ό essential life skills. Teachers enthusiastically participated in the activities and gained πŸ“ practical strategies to make classroom learning more meaningful,  engaging, and  impactful.

The workshop concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks to Ms. Anjali Gupta for her invaluable guidance, expertise, and inspiring session, and to Dr. Parvinder Kaur for her visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to educational excellence.

The session left every teacher inspired,  empowered, and πŸš€ motivated to embrace  innovative teaching practices that promote πŸ“– meaningful learning experiences, 🌟 student engagement, and 🌍 the holistic development of every learner

Teej Celebration

The festival of Teej celebrates the bounty of nature, arrival of rains and greenery surrounded by social activities, rituals and customs. Students of Jai Vatika Public School celebrated Haryali Teej with great joy and fervour on the school campus. Kids came dressed in traditional Punjabi dresses. The campus was decorated with swings and items related to Teej. A giddha performance was also given by girls. Addressing the kids, teachers briefed about the importance of the day and mentioned that Teej was primarily a festival celebrated by girls and women with songs and dances mainly in the northern and western parts of India. Tiny tots participated whole-heartedly in the fun-filled function. The Punjabi boliyan were presented by little vatikans. Traditional dances, bhangra and giddha were performed by boys and girls.
