Celebration of World Health Day

On the occasion of World Health Day, a special morning assembly was conducted for the students of Grades 1 to 5 at Jai Vatika Public School.

The assembly aimed to spread awareness about the importance of maintaining good health and adopting a healthy lifestyle. Students actively participated in a refreshing yoga session, where they performed simple asanas and breathing exercises under the guidance of their teachers. The session helped students understand the value of physical fitness and mental well-being.

During the assembly, students were also educated about various ways to stay healthy and fit. They were guided on the importance of:

• Eating healthy and nutritious food while avoiding junk food

• Maintaining proper personal hygiene

• Staying physically active through exercise and play

• Avoiding excessive use of mobile phones

• Limiting screen time, including watching TV for long hours

• Drinking enough water and getting proper rest

Teachers encouraged students to adopt these healthy habits in their daily routine to lead a balanced and active life.

The assembly was informative and engaging, leaving students motivated to take better care of their health. It was a meaningful celebration that reinforced the message, “Healthy habits lead to a healthy life.”
