Beginning of Academic Session 2026-27

 

A new school year means new beginnings, new adventures, and new opportunities to learn and grow.

The new academic session at Jai Vatika Public School, Barnala began on a bright and cheerful note with a special assembly that filled the campus with positivity and enthusiasm. Assemblies were beautifully organized for students classes 1 to 5 had their assembly conducted by the dedicated teachers, ensuring a warm and guided start for the young learners, while classes 6 to 12 confidently conducted their own assembly, showcasing responsibility, leadership, and teamwork.

The day started with a serene morning prayer, creating a peaceful atmosphere and seeking blessings for a successful year ahead. This was followed by an inspiring thought of the day, encouraging students to stay focused and motivated in their journey of learning. To enhance language skills, the vocabulary word of the day was shared, helping students learn something new and meaningful.

Adding a special touch to the assembly, our respected Coordinator Ma’am, Ms. Meenakshi Sharma, presented a beautiful poem recitation. Her expressive delivery and meaningful words deeply inspired the students and added grace to the occasion.

The assembly set a perfect tone for the beginning of the session, reminding everyone of the importance of discipline, dedication, and continuous growth. The excitement continued with fun-filled activities organized for the students, making their first day memorable and enjoyable. Laughter and joy could be seen all around as students actively participated in games and entertainment activities designed to engage and energize them.

The highlight of the day was the inspiring address by our Respected Principal Ma’am, Dr. Parvinder Kaur. Her encouraging words motivated students to aim high, stay positive, and make the most of every opportunity in the new academic session.

Overall, the first day was a perfect blend of learning, fun, and inspiration, leaving students excited and eager for the days ahead.

Teej Celebration

The festival of Teej celebrates the bounty of nature, arrival of rains and greenery surrounded by social activities, rituals and customs. Students of Jai Vatika Public School celebrated Haryali Teej with great joy and fervour on the school campus. Kids came dressed in traditional Punjabi dresses. The campus was decorated with swings and items related to Teej. A giddha performance was also given by girls. Addressing the kids, teachers briefed about the importance of the day and mentioned that Teej was primarily a festival celebrated by girls and women with songs and dances mainly in the northern and western parts of India. Tiny tots participated whole-heartedly in the fun-filled function. The Punjabi boliyan were presented by little vatikans. Traditional dances, bhangra and giddha were performed by boys and girls.
