The spirit of leadership and responsibility soared high at JAI VATIKA PUBLIC SCHOOL. We celebrated Investiture Ceremony for the session 2025-26 with pride and honour. The day began with a grand welcome of our esteemed guests, led by the energetic beats of the School Band that set the tone for the occasion. The event began with the solemn Badge Ceremony, where our newly elected School Council Members and House Captains were adorned with their badges of duty—symbols of their commitment to lead by example and serve the school community with dedication. Following this, the Oath-Taking Ceremony saw each council member and house captain pledging to uphold the values of honesty, leadership, and teamwork. Their voices, filled with determination, echoed a promise to make a difference in the school’s journey ahead.
The highlight of the celebration was a vibrant dance performance by our talented students, expressing the spirit of unity, culture, and joy that defines our school ethos. In her address, the Head Girl shared a heartfelt vision for the year ahead, pledging sincerity and teamwork. Respected Director Ma’am VANISHA BANSAL motivated the students to lead by example and build a positive legacy, while Principal Ma’am DR.PARVINDER KAUR encouraged the newly appointed council to uphold the values of the school with integrity and respect. The event concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and unity among students, staff, and leaders.

Teej Celebration

The festival of Teej celebrates the bounty of nature, arrival of rains and greenery surrounded by social activities, rituals and customs. Students of Jai Vatika Public School celebrated Haryali Teej with great joy and fervour on the school campus. Kids came dressed in traditional Punjabi dresses. The campus was decorated with swings and items related to Teej. A giddha performance was also given by girls. Addressing the kids, teachers briefed about the importance of the day and mentioned that Teej was primarily a festival celebrated by girls and women with songs and dances mainly in the northern and western parts of India. Tiny tots participated whole-heartedly in the fun-filled function. The Punjabi boliyan were presented by little vatikans. Traditional dances, bhangra and giddha were performed by boys and girls. World Earth Day Celebration at JVPS

 "We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children." Going with the adage World Earth Day was celebrated on 22 April,2022 at Jai Vatika Public School, Barnala with a special assembly on the school premises by Legend House Students. Main attraction of the assembly were Dance Performance, Role Play, Poetry Recitation, Speech. On the occasion of World Earth Day children participated in creative activities like: clay modelling for kindergarten, Sapling Plantation for class 1-2,6-7,  Slogan Writing for class 3-5, Poster Making for class 8, Speech Competition for class 9-12 for displaying their artistic and linguistic skills while showcasing their awareness about conserving natural resources. Students and staff members took pledge to contribute their efforts to sustain this planet Earth during the occasion.
