Observance of SHIKSHA SAPTAH Jai Vatika Public School Barnala celebrated Shiksha Saptah from 22nd July to 28th of July with a plethora of activities that encouraged creativity , critical thinking , and learning through fun! Day 1- TLM DAY Theme of the celebrations was to showcase and utilize innovative Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs) to enhance the learning experience. Activities: 1. Thumb and hand painting : Our tiny tots created masterpieces using their thumbs and hands. 2. Card and mask making : Students showcased their creativity by designing masks and cards. 3. Plantation Drive in Kindergarten on Parents' Induction Program - Plant4Mother: With a motto to sensitize young minds about the importance of trees and the environment and to involve parents in the school's green initiatives today, on 27.07.2024 JVPS launched the Plant4Mother campaign, promoting a greener and healthier planet after Parents' Induction Program for Kindergarten. Children, accompanied by their parents, planted saplings in the school garden. A brief session highlighted the significance of trees, conservation, and the Plant4Mother campaign. Children and parents took a pledge to care for the planted saplings and promote environmental awareness.
