 INVESTITURE CEREMONY


*If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more and become more, then you are a better leader* - in order to inculcate the leadership qualities in students🧑‍🎓, the School Cabinet was formed and they were inducted through a grand *Investiture Ceremony* at *Jai Vatika Public School* 🏫, Barnala for session 2023-24, The event was presided over by our honourable *Director Mam Mrs. Vanisha Bansal.* There was lightning of the lamp 🪔. *Students* of the *Student Council* first had their *interviews* on 18-19 April with honourable Principal Mam, then they did *campaigning* and finally *elections* were held and they were polled *votes* by the *students* as well as *teachers* . The newly appointed appointees and the house appointees were honoured with sashes and batches and then they took the oath in front of the whole school🏫. Apart from these the *House Captains* were also handed over the *House Flags.*
Our honourable *Director Mam Mrs. Vanisha Bansal* congratulated🥳and motivated 🥰them to be dutiful and responsible. The programme came to an end with the *speech* of *Head Boy* and *vote of thanks* which was proposed by the *Head Girl* .

The festival of Teej celebrates the bounty of nature, arrival of rains and greenery surrounded by social activities, rituals and customs. Students of Jai Vatika Public School celebrated Haryali Teej with great joy and fervour on the school campus. Kids came dressed in traditional Punjabi dresses. The campus was decorated with swings and items related to Teej. A giddha performance was also given by girls. Addressing the kids, teachers briefed about the importance of the day and mentioned that Teej was primarily a festival celebrated by girls and women with songs and dances mainly in the northern and western parts of India. Tiny tots participated whole-heartedly in the fun-filled function. The Punjabi boliyan were presented by little vatikans. Traditional dances, bhangra and giddha were performed by boys and girls. Shaping Future Journalist - News Reporter Activity

JAI VATIKA PUBLIC SCHOOL Class IV – News Reporter Activity The News Reporter Activity was organized for the students of Class IV to enhance their communication skills, confidence, and awareness of current events. They confidently presented National News , International News , Sports News , Weather Report , and Positive News of the Day with clear pronunciation and expressive voice modulation. The activity helped students improve their public speaking, vocabulary, presentation skills, and stage confidence, while encouraging creativity, teamwork, and interest in current affairs. The event was interactive, enjoyable, and a great learning experience. Every student participated with enthusiasm, making the activity both memorable and enriching.
