Celebration of Diwali 2022

 




πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰Students of JVPS enthusiastically organized the special assembly on auspicious festival of Deewali.
πŸͺ” The celebration started with Morning Prayer. School campus was fully decorated with lights, candles, and artwork from eco-friendly products. Students took special pledge to celebrate Green Deewali. They talked about the significance of the festival - how good always conquered the evil and also about why and how Diwali is celebrated across India. They played an πŸ‘€awestrucking role play sensitizing students about the ill-effects of 🧨crackers, they also shared the guidelines of environment-friendly🌳 options for celebrating Diwali.
The celebration was made more to the students’ liking by energetic bhangraπŸ•ΊπŸ»πŸ•ΊπŸ» performance. 🎼Melodies poems and songs were sung to deck out the beauty of this festival.
πŸŽ‰Wonderful presentation of the assembly by the students instilled a sense of victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair.
πŸͺ”Respected Director Ma’am voiced over the importance of knowledge and apprised the students to catechize the facts before following and accepting them. Ma’am wished the students a safe and green Deewali.
πŸͺ”Honourable Principal of our school guided the students in her speech on the topic of eco-friendly Diwali. She also suggested the Vatikans not to use firecrackers as it causes a lot of air pollution .
πŸŽ‰ To make this day more enjoyable and memorable for Vtikans , various activities were conducted such as footprint crafts πŸ‘£, Wall Hanging Making πŸͺ‚, Rangoli Making were conducted for all the students and they participated energetically.
πŸͺ”Let us keep Diwali holding it close to our hearts for its meaning never ends and its spirit is the warmth and joy of remembering friend.

Teej Celebration

The festival of Teej celebrates the bounty of nature, arrival of rains and greenery surrounded by social activities, rituals and customs. Students of Jai Vatika Public School celebrated Haryali Teej with great joy and fervour on the school campus. Kids came dressed in traditional Punjabi dresses. The campus was decorated with swings and items related to Teej. A giddha performance was also given by girls. Addressing the kids, teachers briefed about the importance of the day and mentioned that Teej was primarily a festival celebrated by girls and women with songs and dances mainly in the northern and western parts of India. World Earth Day Celebration at JVPS

 "We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children." Going with the adage World Earth Day was celebrated on 22 April,2022 at Jai Vatika Public School, Barnala with a special assembly on the school premises by Legend House Students. Main attraction of the assembly were Dance Performance, Role Play, Poetry Recitation, Speech. On the occasion of World Earth Day children participated in creative activities like: clay modelling for kindergarten, Sapling Plantation for class 1-2,6-7,  Slogan Writing for class 3-5, Poster Making for class 8, Speech Competition for class 9-12 for displaying their artistic and linguistic skills while showcasing their awareness about conserving natural resources. Experiential learning - Yellow colour

Tiny tots love colours and they especially love learning about the bright ones. Kindergarten tiny tots learnt yellow colour in their activity "Yummy Yellow" . The children would aware about yellow colour and its significance was the motive of this activity. yellow in Hinduism is the colour of Lord vishnu, the color of purity and victory .Students made a 'Yummy Mango' with the help of yellow sheet. They also showed different yellow colour objects. The students enjoyed activity a lot and they also learnt about the yellow colour through activity.
