Special visit to Geeta Bhawan Temple



Jai Vatika Public School for the kindergarten students, organised a special visit to Geeta Bhawan at Barnala. The architecture of Geeta Bhawan temple depicts the stories of Lord Ganesha. Welcoming the tiny-tots, the head priest of the temple showed several statues portraying the sagas about the upbringing of Lord Ganesha. From the priest, the little visitors gathered knowledge about the playful life of Bal Ganesha.
"At Geeta Bhawan temple, we worshiped Lord Ganesha and took his blessings. The entire environment is full of sanctity," said the head priest.
The students were served prasad, toys and sweets. The kids enjoyed the visit and it aroused great interest among them about the life of Lord Ganesha.Temple management organized a drawing competition and distributed certificates to the little Vatikans. Priest said such visits to religious places plays an important role in the life of kids helping them know their culture and tradition.

International women's day celebration at JVPS

JVPS celebrated it's inspiration in the form of all the female teachers in the school. Their efforts at home and school were much appreciated and recognised. Teachers presented their views on gender equality,condition of women in society and the changes that they see around in relation to the gender. The school head and director both being female are leading the school successfully towards its ultimate goal of providing excellent education. School lays special emphasis on nurturing and developing it's girl students. It will give them courage to face difficulties and overcome obstacles in life.

Farewell party "Jashan - E - Rukhsat " for the outgoing grade XII students at JVPS

         " There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in our hearts." On 2nd April, grade XI students organised a farewell party ( Jashan-E-Rukhsat) for the outgoing grade XII students. Students were extremely enthusiastic about the celebration and participated with zeal and fervour. The outgoing students looked back at the journey in the school and grew emotional. Students were given a warm welcome with the tilak ceremony and a welcome speech by grade XI students. Various cultural events, songs, dances were performed by the students following with a ramp walk and giving titles to the students. Grade XII students also were part of the cultural program, they recited self composed poems for teachers and expressed their gratitude. After a question round Mr & Ms JVPS,  Mr & Ms Evening were announced. It was a nostalgic moment filled with happy and sad faces, eyes glittering with tears.  The cordial presence of Director Ms Vanisha Bansal was an adde
