*Inter House Badminton Tournament* for students of classes VI- VIII was organized at Jai Vatika Public School
The event was a great success as the participants from the four houses came with greater enthusiasm. There is a saying, “practice makes a man perfect”. The same was seen in most of the players who participated. It was a wonderful display of talent and stamina. They took up the challenge and gave their best when it mattered the most. The sports teachers were enthusiastic and very keen to manage the event. There were some nail-biting finishes. The audience lightened up the event, they gathered to cheer the contestants of their houses. Winner House students were awarded by Principal Mrs. Rinki Chakrborty Singh with certificates and trophies.Other teams weren’t disappointed as they got to experience some wonderful display of talent.

On 2nd April, grade XI students organised a farewell party ( Jashan-E-Rukhsat) for the outgoing grade XII students. Students were extremely enthusiastic about the celebration and participated with zeal and fervour. The outgoing students looked back at the journey in the school and grew emotional. Students were given a warm welcome with the tilak ceremony and a welcome speech by grade XI students. Various cultural events, songs, dances were performed by the students following with a ramp walk and giving titles to the students. Grade XII students also were part of the cultural program, they recited self composed poems for teachers and expressed their gratitude. After a question round Mr & Ms JVPS, Mr & Ms Evening were announced. It was a nostalgic moment filled with happy and sad faces, eyes glittering with tears.
